Reading
so we had to do this screenplay project, reflecting off Monster; a book we read in class that was like a play. we got to choose a topic in life that influenced us the most. I choose when my father had cancer and wrote all about it, eventhough i was young and couldnt really remember much there were still flashbacks of it that i knew. i plan on giving it to him for christmas as a gift. i got a 110% on it so that is pretty awesome :)
Winterfest
So the winterfest is tonight in my building. everyone from high school is getting together with me and were gunna go hangout throughout my building. should be tons of fun! then its movie nightt with all of them :) pretty excited to go hangout with everyone! it's going to be on every floor throught building D and theres tons of fun things to do. we can win tshirts, and all this other stuff...we'll see how it is tonight
Finals

New Years Resolution
my new years resolution is to finally find a job so i can have more cash! i really need one, it sucks not having any money on me... and i hate borrowing money!

Thankful
I am thankful for my family and friends. The people in my life mean the world to me and I couldn't ask for better people. They are the only ones I trust and are always there for me when i need them. I am also there for them if they ever need me. I am thankful for where I am and how I got here, and wish nothing other for me but to be very successful in life.
My birthday! :)

Gay Love ♥
My best friend is gay. I love him alot! He was afraid to tell me that he was gay but now we can check out guys together. He sings Taylor Swift's Love story to me and changes the lyrics to fit our relationship. When i have children he is going to be their god father. Our relationship goes all the way back to baby years. We have been best friends literally forever. I fully support his gay lifestyle because gay guys know how to live it up!!! We are going to hvae a huge rainbow party when he gets married some day. It is going to be gay-tastic!! We make gay pride posters and hang them in his dorm as well :) The best part about having a gay best friend is all the SHOPPING!!!! Having a gay friend is like having a personal designer with you at all times. It is AMAZING. I love him very much :D

Eventful Times..
Okay so elaberating on girls being girls. Everyone has their own thoughts, each person is different. No matter how they dress or the way the act, they have the right to be who they want. Each girl goes through her stages to figure out who she really is. Whether its the way they dress, they shouldn't be picked on for that. It's who they want to be.. I was once asked if I ever got picked on for the way I dress. First off, I am an athletic girl, sports have been very important to me my entire life. So yes I do have all the sporty outfits; sweatpants, shirts, sweatshirts, and all that. Sometimes I wear them just to lounge around and be comfortable. But just for wearing those most of the time, should not be jumped to conclusion that you're a "tomboy" and getting picked on for it. The way you dress doesn't always express who you truely are. Get to know someone first before you jump to conclusions and say something about it. Who they truely are lies beneath the skin. So what I'm trying to say is that girls can still be girls, even if they play sports or if they wear comfy clothes and not dress up everyday in pink; which most think is a girl...so not true! A girl is always going to be a girl, no matter what other people think; they will be who they want. Seriosuly people; don't jump to conclusions!!!!

Opinion..
1. All men are created equal: I believe this is somewhat true, everyone has the same rights. Everyone in this world is equal no matter what but people get sterotyped. The way you dress, the way you speak, if you play sports or not, and all other types of things people do. Everyday people are sterotyped.
2. Girls should act like girls: Yes, they should have manners. But when is that ever going to happen, girls are going to be who they wanty, dress like they want, speak like they want, and not have anyone else tell them what to do. They will be sterotyped if they dress different or dont wear pink, but it's all their choice. They can be who they want.
3. No one is above the law: This is so untrue, there are people that are above the law. Set written, you go to jail or atleast serve some punishment if you do something wrong. But people go and pay their way out of being in trouble. People always get out of their way, no matter what. Everyone should have equal rights, no matter if they are a policeman, in the justice system, or a regular person on the streets.
4. It's okay to be different: Everyone is different in their own way. Everyone else views people as a different person if they aren't one of them. Again, sterotype sets into place with this one. No matter who you are there will always be someone who is different than you.

October 20 Class
So this class is 3 hours long, and all they talked about was legalizing marijuana. We also watched a movie on it, and it is a ridiculous thing! It does some messed up things to people, loss of memory, lack of memory and a lot of other things. I think that marijuana should be leagalized because then the people who do it should pay for it. But on the other hand it isn't a good thing to leagalize because everyone else will be taxed for it. And they really shouldn't have to have taxes towards it if they don't do it. So many people do it, and it just smells nasty! I would neverrrr try it, ewwww.
College Life..
So college absolutely sucks out here...and I am just so bored with it. I decided to play basketball to make it not be so boring anymore, and with that I am sooo sore! :( What was I thinking?! ughh anyways hopefully that season goes by fast since basketball has to be the longest season out of any other sport..its ridiculous! they should all be the same. four months to go! yay. and hopefully my soreness goes away real quick because it sucks not being able to really walk or anything. and on top of that, last night at basketball I got hit by a frikin basketball right in the face. thought it was another black eye! same eye that I had gotten elbowed by in high school, but its nothing nearly as close as the one I got during high school. so we'll see how the season goes, since I felt so guilty for not playing now I hope it goes by fast! it's very time consuming!
Super Size Me!
I personally find this movie very disturbing. I first saw this movie in my health class during high school. Even though this movie may seen gross, it is a part of life. Mcdonalds and any fast food restaurant is making tons of money, people don't realize the health risk behind it. You can catch many diseases or anything that can mess with your body from all the greasy foods. I believe that the restaurants are and aren't to blame. They are to blame because their foods are too fatty and tons of calories. They aren't to blame because it is the individuals choice to pick if they want to eat there or not. They can go every so often, but going all the time id just calling for a major health drop! I personally have someone close to me that used to eat McDonalds at least 4 times a week. Due to eating it all the time, he gained a lot of weight. Eventually he got it down to about once a week then didn't eat it at all for months on end. He had lost about 20-30 pounds just from not eating the food. Yeah McDonalds can really do that to you, it's terrible! America is the biggest continent all over the world, and is becoming obese and its mostly due to not eating right and not exercising. Fast food will make you gain weight and cause countless health issues down the road. In Long Island, it is less that 13 miles long, and less than 2 miles wide...and there are a total of 83 McDonalds in the area. EWWW!

Ten Ten Ten
So as everyone probably realized Sunday was 10/10/10 ! My Sunday I ended up at the lake, which was fun since it was nice out. I didn't end up going out on the boat though, the water was way to cold to do that. I wish it was warmer out so I could have went water skiing one last time before the boat was put away :( that was sad that i couldn't. But anyways I went up there to help take out docks and hoist which is the worst thing everr!! But I was lucky enough to be on the shore helping that way since I didn't have any waders to go into the water haha. So we got my uncle's docks out and I thought we were done, hahaha good one! We had to still take out the neighbors docks.... Therefore we were going over there and all the guys took out this huge dock and it was on wheels, so I grabbed a cinder block to put on the wheel. And i set it down behind the wheel stood there for a second looked down and something was moving! I started freaking out and I had thought it was a snake. OMG!! ewwww but everyone was like noo its just a hushpuppy snake that lived in the mud. It was still nastyyyy! So after all that happened, I operated the four wheeler to pull the hoist in so I could be away from that nasty thing that scared me. After we finished I drove the four wheeler over to our shore, sitting there putting it into park and my uncle comes up behind me with something that had rocks all over it. I had knee-high waders on and in his hand is that nasty thing!! I don't think I've moved so fast trying to get awayy. I went running up the stairs freaking outt. YUCK! He eventually threw it in the water and I got back on the four wheeler and drove awayy I was like frightened to be near the water anymore! After all thatt we left, went to the cider mill and got cider and donuts. THEY WERE AMAZINGGG!!!! :D and very tasty. That was my tententen ;)
Saturday
So this past weekend I went to a wedding. WOO! Anyways it was for my boyfriend's cousin, it wasn't too bad, I had fun since I was with him. And anyways I love going to weddings, hence why I want to be a wedding planner someday :) sounds like so much fun i know! But i don't know what else to say about it... their colors were red, it was all fall themed. As their party favor they made candy apples which were something new that I've seen. I'm so sad i couldn't eat them though ugh! And the bride had the most amazing dress on that I've ever seen!! It is exactly like the one that I want when I get married. I saw it on television on a show and I fell in love with it, and seeing it on television made me even love it moreee! Oh and they played the same song that I want at my wedding! It was so weird :p at least they didn't have the same color I want when I have minee. haha so that's how i spent my saturday :)

Zachary!
Zach has been my best friend for the past 18 years. We have know each other our entire life and are pretty much like brother and sister. I don't know what I would do without him as one of my friends, and to have him here at college, makes it so much better. We were told to ask someone we admire at college and interview them, so here it is.
*Who do you admire the most?
**My mom and my friends.
*Why do you admire me as a friend?
**You've been there all along, and we just know each other better than anyone else.
*Would college be different if we separated?
**Very different, it wouldn't be as interesting!!
*What is your daily schedule like?
**Classes, clubs, homework, and hanging out with friends!
*Did you look forward to going off to college and being on your own?
**Yes, but now I miss my family. I just want to graduate and be done! :)
*How is college life for you?
**Good, just like high school but a different place, and new friends.
*What is the hardest part at being at college?
**Being away from my family.
*Are you happy that you knew people moving in here?
**Very much, I have no idea what I would have done if I didn't know anyone at first.
*What is your hardest class here at TC3?
**Accounting.
*What are looking forward to the most about college?
**Meeting new people, and the holidays off.

College Life so far!
Alright so college is half way through it's first semester. And I just had to take a midterm, which was the easiest test ever! :) Psychology 101. But anyways, the first five weeks have flown by lately, and it's going to be a quick year. With Fall Break coming right around the corner, going home to see my family, I'm stoked about that!! :D Anyways, the whole being in the middle of nowhere doesn't really work out for me. I would much rather be someone in the city. Not really sure what I was thinking but oh well. On the other hand, classes are easy! That's always a plus. I really don't plan on changing much that I can think of. I'm the type that changes as things go, so we will see how college turns out.
CEB Event
So the other day there was a CEB in the Student Center. We welcomed Randall Padgett from a small town in Alabama, who had been on death row for three and a half years. He had a happy life, with two children and a loving wife on a little farm in Alabama. He went to the University of Alabama, graduating with his degree in Business, and had worked at a factory type building as a manager. One night his coworker had trouble starting her car, so he helped, and led up to an affair with his wife, which he regrets. He was accused of killing his wife, who was raped after being stabbed 40 times. He was with his two children the night of the killing, took his children to their aunts, and left to go to Florida. When their aunt took the children home to see their mother, the little had found her mother laying on the bed drenched in blood. Since he had the affair, they suspected Randall as the first witness. He spent five years in jail went to trial twice where the jury had fallen asleep during it because they thought it was so boring, so that really didn't help his case. As they went through finger prints and did blood test they had found his fingerprints at the scene. Also, the exterminator doing the blood said it was a match, but he was for sure it wasn't his so he made them do another. As they tested they found that the blood type they had had changed. How could that happen really? As years went by, Randall lost his house and everything he had. After spending all those years in jail he was accused of killing his wife and put on execution on his birthday, May 22. Finally they had found out that Randall really didn't kill his wife, but they will not go for the other person who had really killed her because they don't want to prove that he was right and they were wrong. He also signed up to get paid for the time he was in jail, but Alabama has said they would never give out that much money to someone since they don't have it, therefore he doesn't have the chance to be part of that. Randall mourns his wife until this day, but is now remarried, and still unemployed because of the felony he was accused of. That is the story of a man who went from death row to innocent.

Fall Break 2010!! :D
So next week is our first official break in college WOO! but anyways I am so happy to go home and see my family and be able to spend time with them! Over the break I have an orthodentist appointment, which is going to suckkk, because my teeth are going to hurt so bad when I come back to school....which means I wont really get to eat much stuff :( because the teeth will be so sensitive! but ill stock up on pain reliever and it will help! But going there means I'm just one appointment closer to getting my braces off and having nice straight teeth! :D which im excited about. Also I plan on going to the pumpkin farm with my family and boyfriend and carve pumpkins which is always fun!! This year I plan on trying to crave out Mater from the movie Cars because he is just that awesome haha Along with going to the pumpkin farm, I want to go to the Cider Mill which is awesome because you can watch how donuts, cookies, candy apples, and cider is made! That place is sooo amazing :) Im hungry just writing about it haha Well I'm not really sure what else I will do over break...but Im sure ill be back to blog about it :) Have a great break TC3!
Time Log :p
So in Self & World we had to fill out this time log about our days of the week.. and mine mostly consist of sleeping, eating, going to class, hanging out with friends, going to work, homework, and whatever other free time I have. The time spent is pretty effective and I wouldn't really change with what I had to do during the day because college takes up a lot of your time due to the amounts of work that it takes. Mostly everyday seems the same unless I get some free time to go do something fun, which is always good to get away. My strengths on the time log are working and getting all my homework done which is most important since i do NOT want to flunk out of college since the amount of money it is! The weakness of my time spent is that its the same basic day over and over and yeah it sometimes gets boring and I get distracted during my work and have to do it last minute. So I could map out a certain time for just homework to actually sit down and do it without getting distracted! Having to work during the week too takes some time out of my day to get everything done, but I can manage having everything up to date since I am the type that has to make sure everything is all good and up to date. :)
Best and Worst!
Okay so everyone has had a best and worst learning exprience throughout life.. My best learning exprience, eventhough it may sound like a crappy one, but going through summer school! That place is such a waste of time and I absolutlty hated it and so glad I didn't have to go through it again. In tenth grade I had to only go to summer school due to failing a global regents. I only had to go for review for 8 days which was so easy (I thought..) but I ended up failing it again! :( I also had to retake a Biology regents that same day but I passed that one! 4 hours of regents taking.. what a waste of a day! and was I tired by then! Then again in eleventh I had failed a Math regents, bummer! That summer the schools had switched their policies to going to school for six weeks with no short review classes... so I went to summer school for that! It helped a lot and I understood the criteria a lot better than I did for an entire year of school! And I passed!! After going to summer school for two summers it taught me to do well during school so I didnt have to waste a summer in school when its supposed to be all fun!
On the other hand, my worst learning exprience was during a car accident. After getting into the accident it taught me a lot. While I was driving I was looking down and not paying attention to the road and rear-ended someone. It was so scary when it first happened and I was in total shock because I didnt know what to do since it was my first accident! Luckily I was right outside my dads work so we both pulled in there, and the guy i hit went inside and called the police. When he came back out I asked if he wanted me to go get my dad he asked who he, I told him.. and even better luck they knew each other! Once the police got there the guy I hit talked to the police and got me out of the police reports and tickets! :) Eventhough I got out of them, it was still a learning exprience and it has taught me to pay attention to the road!

Dead Poet Society
In relation to Dead Poet Society the guys in the class all had a favorite teacher and that was Mr. John Keating. He teaches in his own way, rips pages out of the book because he doesnt think they are right and just does what he wants. I have also had a teacher that taught their way and didnt care what others thought. His name was Mr. Hakes, he always went by his own way and didnt care about the school. He taught what he thought was right and didnt even go by the books. He was a good teacher even though he didnt go by the book. this is a postitive impact because it teaches yourself to go by what you want and dont have any guidelines through life. do what you want and dont let anyone tell you what to do. live your own life!
Honestly..
I have no idea what else to write about...I just have to write another. So this one will most liking be boring just like the rest but oh well hah even though youve heard what the hardest thing about this place is being in the middle of nowhere and I just want to moveee to cortland! if i moved there i could actually see my brother, and be able to have something to do at all times! i wish i had thought about living there earlier but now that my car doesnt work anymore that wouldnt be good! not having my car here i feel trapped with nowhere to go and i reallyyy miss my car a lott! :( i wish i had some more money so i could go buy the g6 that ive been wanting for soo long! grrrrrr.
Middle of NO WHERE!
Okay so TC3 isn't that bad, but it's absolutely in the middle of no where!! which I hateee. I don't really like it here but I'm going to finish out my two years here and get away and into a city! :) where there is much more to do. I am defiantly not staying on campus next year so the only time that I will have to come here is for classes! then I can be down in Cortland where there is more going on around me. I wish I had signed up to live there in the first place but I didn't think it would be this boring here...haha sorry TC3.. :p but that's just how I feel! and it sucks even more because I don't have my car up here with me, it seriously needs to get fixed soon so i can peace out whenever I want and not stay in this crappy little town! Okayy, I'm done hating on TC3 :p
Journeyy..
So in my journey through TC3, it has been very interesting. I am keeping myself busy though with friends, homework, work, and everything else! Classes have been alright, even though they are too long and tons of homework which takes too much time haha. Work is so easy but not enough hours a week. All I have to do is go to sporting events and help work at them, so people..play some more games! :) College life and friends is great, just chilllin! The hardest thing about college life I would say is leaving my family. I miss them like crazy at times, but I know I'm not that far from home so I can go see them whenever I want.

Syracuse!
so last weekend my boyfriend and i went shopping in the syracuse mall. for the longest time ive wanted to build a bear because i never have. he always told me that i could, so we finally went. i walked in and there was a little kids party going on so luckily i got in before they started! i couldnt decide if i wanted the black bear with neon smiles and peace signs on it or the white bear with candy corns all over it. haha i finally decided to get the candy corn bear. on the way there i told my boyfriend i wanted to get it a little syracuse outfit and they had one! (i love syracuse basketball) after filling it and putting a heart in it <3 the person asked if i wanted to do the dance i passed on that one she just laughed, then we had to give the bear a "bath" and found it wasnt even stitched up all the way :p then i walked over and found the perfect little syracuse outfit. :) i sat there forever trying to pick out a name for it, my boyfriend wanted it to be Chester but i said it was going to be a girl haha so we named it Jae. just the other day i was sitting there looking at the bear and have decided to change its name to Syra Jae! :) even though the birth certificate says Jae.... lol oh well! so that was my adventure to Build A Bear! it was quite a timee but so much fun! you are never too old to go there :)
Four Hours..
So I am sitting here alone, everyone left. I've been working on homework for the past four hours! YAY :P
I have a project due at the end of the semester and it seems like a great project and I'm looking forward to see how it turns out. At the end of it I am going to give it to my father because it is about him. It should be interesting on how his reaction turns out to be. He should love it :) Welll, back to homework it is wooo! NOTTT!!!!

My Journey..
My journey so far through TC3 is a new one. Starting by meeting new people and getting used to a new environment. It's a big leap in life and it just needs to be taken step by step. I've made some great friends and met up with some old ones. I like all my roommates and we all get along great, and do pretty much everything together. It keeps my mind off of being home and missing my family. The classes are pretty much like high school...small and personal. Everything I'm learning is just like high school which is kind of boring and repetitive but an easy A!

Fallen. Always Remembered. Never Forgotten.
In the Freshman Seminar class on September 8, 2010 we had watched Flight 93 in memory of the planes that had been hijacked. United Airlines Flight 93 was the plane with four hijackers on the plane with bombs strapped to them and was planned to hit the White House but had fallen in Skansville, Pennsylvania. The hijackers had attacked within forty minutes from being on the plane and everyone had called families to let them know they were hijacked and that there were bombs. Since the Towers and Pentagon had been hit and fallen, they will always be remembered forever. Along with the Flight 93, the people on the plane will also never be forgotten by friends and family. The USA did not deserve what had happened, September 11, 2001 was the darkest day of worlds history and will never be forgotten.
